Hyderabad Monuments |
Hyderabad is the largest city and also the capital of the Newest state of India, Telangana. Spreading over 650 Kilometres along with the Musi river, Hyderabad is home for 16.6 million people if both Hyderabad City and Hyderabad Metropolitan Region are taken into account. Hyderabad has the winter office of the President of India called 'Rashtrapati Nilyam' from where the president works for at least 2 weeks of the year
Hyderabad also called the 'Pharmaceutical capital of India' is the fifth largest contributor to India's GDP with output of $74 Billion and also India's India's fastest Growing City.
Also to add, Hyderabad has largest overseas campus of several big tech giants like Amazon, Apple, Google and Microsoft.
Weather
On the bank of Musi River Hyderabad is in the southern part of Telangana. Similar to most coastal areas, Hyderabad also has the 'Tropical Wet and Dry Climate'.
The temperature of the city changes mostly through summer and winter with annual rainfall of on average 30 - 40 inches. The seasons are as follows -
1. Summers - From March to June is somewhere between 21-33 and are hot & humid with temperature max up-to 35-40 degrees.
2. Winters - The most cold days are as low as 10 degrees with daily average of 26-30 degrees.
As the lakes of Hyderabad cover most of the city and are major source habitat providers of most of the flora and fauna, the lakes are in great need of conversational steps. There was a drastic fall seen in the number of trees and as well as different factors of environment. Organisations engaged in environmental and wildlife preservation include the Telangana Forest Department, Indian Council of Forestry Research and Education, the International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), the Animal Welfare Board of India, the Blue Cross of Hyderabad and the University of Hyderabad.
Public Transport
Transporting over 3.5 million passengers on a daily basis the most commonly used method of transport is either government owned buses or railways. Major railway stations in the city being -
1. Hyderabad Deccan Station
2. Kacheguda Railway Station
3. Begumpet Railway Station
4. Malkajgiri Railway Station
5. Lingampally Railway Station
And the largest among them being
6. Secunderabad Railway Station
Also Hyderabad has the second largest metro railway network in India which was inaugurated in 2017 and has further plans to expand as well.
Other than all this Hyderabad being a tech hub has a preference of privately owned taxis and also OLAs and Ubers.
For long haul and overseas travel Hyderabad has the 'Rajiv Gandhi International Airport'. The airport has the reputation that whatever new experiment done in the aviation sector of India is done here in this airport. This airport is also known to handle any adverse situation places in front of them. The RGIA catered 21.4 million flyers in the fiscal year 2017-18.

Hyderabad T'he City of Nizams' is a place worth seeing and experiencing. One of the only cities in Inida with the history of 400 years and still a developed metropolitan. 1. Charminar - A architecture wonder built in 1591 is a 4 tower structure 56 meter high and 36 meter in breath. Located in the old city, it is one of the trademark locations and is synonymous with the name Hyderabad.
2. Golconda Fort - Another architecture wonder is this fort which has walls 15 - 18 feet tall and are over 11 km in parameter. The fort was built by the Qutub Shahi Kings.
3. Ramoji Film City - Since 1991 Ramji FIlm City has been a tourist attraction for everyone all across India. Spread in over 2500 acres, it consist of over 50 film units.
4. Chowmahalla Place - Spread in 12 acres of land and formed in the year of 1857, the palace was built by fifth Nizam, Afzar-ud-Daulah, Asaf Jav V and now is a major historical tourist attraction of Hyderabad
5. Lumbini Park - A park established in 1994 by the Hyderabad Urban Development Authority and has some captivating set of flowering plants and also has musical fountains.

Weather you are a vegetarian or a non-vegetarian, Hyderabadi food is a foodies paradise. Many of these Hyderabadi dishes have made it to the global 'Try it before you die' food lists -

1. Hyderabadi Biriyani - When we talk about Hyderanadi cuisine this dish always tops the list. A world famous Biriyani dish whose name is used as a benchmark to sell biriyani anywhere in the world.
2. Haleem - A dish vastly famous among muslims as it fits thie accustoms. Dish is prepared out of mutton, nuts and spices and wheat, this slow-cooked dish is a hot favourite of people of Hyderabad.
3. Hyderabadi Marag - A famous soup dish made out of mutton and a Hyderabad's must try's. A complete appetite booster and truly nawabi experience.
4. Keema Samosa - Samosa is nothing new for us Indians, but this special samosa has keema (minced meat) filling which makes it a must try when in the city.
5. Kebabs - A very popular barbecue middle-eastern dish vastly popular in Hyderabad. One of those dishes for which you will generally see huge ques for.
